-Supporting a Greater Quality of Life for our Seniors and Disabled-
The Outagamie County Nutrition Program Provides Congregate and Home Delivered meal service to persons 60 years and older or disabled on a donation basis. The Nutrition Program takes great strides in reducing hunger, food insecurity and promoting the well-being of our seniors and disabled. Poor Nutrition is the biggest threat to an older person's independence. The Nutrition Program provides nutritional, financial, social, educational and informational support.
Assist the Elderly and Disabled by Serving and Delivery Meals!
In 2015 the Outagamie County Nutrition Program served over 55,000 meals via 5 congregate meal sites and home delivery. Your participation in this community outreach opportunity could make a tremendous difference in the lives of many elderly and disabled persons in need of a midday meal! Congregate Meal Service offers nutritious meals, in a group setting, providing socialization, educational and recreational activities, nutrition and benefit counseling, health screenings, current information on aging issues, as well as volunteer opportunities.
