Who We Are

LEAVEN uses volunteers in all facets of our programming. From the receptionist to the case manager. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity to serve those in need and be able to make a real difference then LEAVEN is for you!

What We Do

LEAVEN assists persons in crisis who have basic needs that cannot be met elsewhere.

People Helping People: Part of the character of a community is defined by how it helps its most vulnerable citizens. LEAVEN started as an idea of Father Robert Udulutsch, a local priest who saw a need for a network providing emergency assistance to the needy of the Fox Valley area.

Since 1987, LEAVEN (Limited Emergency Assistance Valley Ecumenical Network) has been the bridge between hardship and hope for residents of Calumet, Northeastern Winnebago, and Outagamie Counties. Supported by local individuals, churches, businesses and foundations,

LEAVEN provided emergency financial assistance for housing, utilities, transportation and other basic human needs during the course of over 6,941 household visits in 2013.
