St. Vincent de Paul of Appleton, Inc.

Who We Are

Volunteers help us by sorting and pricing donated merchandise.  Although the majory of our volunteer opportunities are at our Thrift Store, we are always seeking interested individuals with expertise in finance, human resources, retail, or law to serve on committees as advisors to our Board of Directors.

St. Vincent de Paul of Appleton funds the work of small groups of volunteers, called St. Vincent de Paul Conferences, who are located at local parishes to provide financial and moral support to people in need. We are continually searching for new St. Vincent de Paul Conference members to meet with individuals and families in need in order to connect them to financial or community resources.

What We Do

The mission of St. Vincent de Paul Appleton is to bring women, men and youth together to provide person-to-person care for individuals and families who are suffering or in need.

St. Vincent de Paul of Appleton helps people meet their basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing. We also assist with utility, medical, transportation and other bills.

In 2013, St. Vincent de Paul of Appleton provided over $300,000 in financial assistance and donated merchandise to individuals and families in need in Outagamie and Waupapca County.

We raise our funds through our Thrift Store, which is volunteer-driven.
