Volunteer: Baby Closet Season Switch

We are in need of some wonderful volunteers to help us switch our Baby Closet over from summer clothes to fall/winter clothes! The Baby Closet is a free resource that Parent Connection provides for Teen Parents (ages 13-21), to get items they need for their babies. Everything in our closet is generously donated by community members, ranging from toys to onesies, diapers to cribs, and everything in the closet is completely free to our program participants. Our switch from season to season is a HUGE task, and we could not get it done without fantastic volunteers!

This opportunity is perfect for people that enjoy baby clothes/toys, organizing, and supporting families in need. This also is a great opportunity for small group that wants to work together and/or do team building while giving back!

(Shifts listed can be flexible ie- working for more or less time, just leave a comment when responding and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch)

We need a few determined folks to help us fight the battle of the weeds – we are certified organic so we do not use herbicides. Weeding is therapeutic, a great workout, and helps our produce grow and remain healthy. After weeding, stretch your legs with a leisurely, self-guided walk around our park space. Stay for a free farm lunch at noon if desired.
